William Vereb

William “Bill” Allen Vereb, Jr., 43, of Shawnee, Oklahoma, passed away on November 26, 2023, after a heart attack.  He was born in Erie, Pennsylvania, on March 16, 1980, to William A. Vereb, Sr. and Darlene Michelle (Hammer) Wenner.
After graduating from Girard High School, Bill continued his education at Gordon Cooper Vo Tech in Shawnee and obtained his A&P license, and he was pursuing his associate degree at Rose State College in Midwest City.  He was currently an aircraft mechanic at Tinker Air Force Base.
In June of 2003, Bill met Chastity Danielle Gadbois, and they were wed on November 21, 2009.  They were blessed with two children, Dominic Gary and Bellahanne Darlene.  Bill enjoyed watching Dominic playing football and Bella cheerleading, and they meant the world to him.  He loved being with his family, and they loved him dearly.  Bella expressed her love by saying, “My Dad was my hero.  He always knew how to make me feel special and loved.”
William Vereb, Jr., was preceded in death by his father, William Vereb, Sr.; his grandparents, Anthony and Julia Vereb; grandfather, Edward Joseph Hammer, and uncles, Jim and Gary Vereb.
William is survived by his wife, Chastity; children, Dominic and Bella; mother and stepdad, Darlene and Rik Lee Wenner; siblings, Shannon, Ricky Jr., Michaelee, Frank and Denae; numerous nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 2, 2023, 1:00 pm, at the Life.Church Shawnee, 5113 N. Harrison St., Shawnee, Oklahoma 74804.
