Waylane Spaulding

Waylane “Wade” Randall Spaulding of Tecumseh, Oklahoma, passed away on Friday, May 12, 2023, at the age of 82. He was born in Pocahontas, Arkansas, on February 4, 1941, to Herbert and Rubye Spaulding.
Wade proudly served his country in the United States Air Force as a coder. After military life, he became an armed security guard for casinos. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and he also loved his dog, TJ. He enjoyed bowling, fishing, playing bingo and slot machines.
Wade was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Rubye; three sisters: Wylma, Wanda and Wendy; two brothers, Wesley and William and his oldest son, Larry.
Wade is survived by his wife, Rachell “Lynn” Spaulding; son, David Spaulding; sister, Wilena (Pepper) Howard; two granddaughters, Gabrielle and Gabby; one great-granddaughter, Amy Marie; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and a host of friends.
A memorial service (with military honors) will be held: 11:00 am on Saturday, May 20, 2023, at Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, 1005 Kimberly Road, Tecumseh, OK 74873.
