Virgil Lee Tee, a Native American of the Kiowa and Kickapoo Tribes of Oklahoma was born in Oklahoma City on September 18, 1947, to Annie and Wilburn Tee. He just turned 80 years young. He was preceded in death by his twin sister Virginia Evelyn Tee Lewis. Virgil succumbed to his illness on September 30, 2026. He tried very hard to fight this illness but lost this battle.
Virgil is survived by 3 children from a previous marriage. He was preceded in death by brothers Darrell Dean Tee, Wilburn Tee, Jr., Patti Ann Carter, and Geraldine Kaskaske. He is survived by sister Doris Tee Beleele and her many family members.
Virgil and Lucille shared many years together in the surrounding Shawnee, Oklahoma area before her passing in 2023. They had no children of their own.
Virgil was a Vietnam Veteran, of which he was proud to have had the opportunity to serve.
Virgil was a person of many traits, one of which he enjoyed in his later years. He knew which local casinos around Shawnee that were best on which days. He never got the big one.
Virgil also was an avid artist self-taught. Could have gone forward but that didn't happen. He enjoyed hunting and fishing during his younger years. He had many professional skills in the work market over the years.
He had many friends who have since passed but he was always willing to help if they needed it. He will be greatly missed. Love you Virgil, your lil sis.
