Tresie Mae Tolleson

Tresie Mae Tolleson, 66, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, passed away on May 4, 2024, after a long struggle with COPD.  She was born in Oklahoma City on January 30, 1958, to Johnie and Shirley Garner.

In 1975, Tresie met Jerry Tolleson, and they were wed in 1977.  They had three children, Teddy, Joy, and Elaine.  Tresie was a housewife and spent her time with her family.  She loved crocheting and going to garage sales.

Tresie was predeceased by her parents, Johnie and Shirley; brothers, J.W., James, and Michael Lynn; sisters, Gracie and Lavina.

Tresie is survived by her husband, Jerry; daughters, Joy and Elaine; son, Teddy; son-in-law, Rennie (who was always known to her as Rico); brothers, Charlie, Roy, Jesse, and Stevie; sisters, Judy and Julie; 24 grandkids and 5 great-grandkids; many other relatives and a host of friends.

A funeral service will be Friday, May 10, 2024, 1:00 p.m., at AE Funeral Services Chapel, 603 W. Independence St., Shawnee, Oklahoma 74804.  Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, 1400 N. Center Ave., Shawnee, Oklahoma 74801.
