Trena Jean Jones

Trina Jones born on November 10, 1950, peacefully passed away on August 13, 2026, at the age of 75. Trena was a trailblazer with a passionate spirit who had a lifelong love for horses. In her younger ages she dedicated much of her time training, riding horses and racing. Her passion led her to make history by being the first female jockey in the state of Oklahoma breaking barriers in the sport she loved dearly.

Beyond the racetrack, Trina's spent most of her years in cosmetology. Running her own hair salon right in the middle of Harrah Oklahoma. She took immense pride in serving her community being an ear and being a speaker for your silent voice when you couldn't speak. If you sat in her chair, she was a therapist and your hairdresser.

All the above Trina was a matriarch who deeply loved her large family. Her legacy of love, strength, warmth, passionate protective, fierce, quick-witted ness, lives on through her surviving children. Robert Brewer and Brandy Brewer. She was a proud grandmother to Cheyenne Hornbeck, Jesse Brewer, Kelly Willis. Who will forever remember their Mimi.

A celebration will be held in her honor August 30, 2026 at 10 AM located at the Harrah Park in Harrah, Oklahoma. Family and friends are invited to share memories and celebrate Trina's remarkable life.
