Susan Greene

Susan “Arlene” Greene (Blair), 70-year-old resident of Tecumseh, Oklahoma passed away July 13, 2022, at home surrounded by loved ones. Born November 19, 1951, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Archie B Blair Sr. and Edna Ruth Irene Irvin. Arlene was a past department president of the VFW Auxiliary. She collected giraffes and loved to fish. She volunteered at the VA hospital. She had a passion for the homeless. She loved watching game shows and her favorite soap opera.
Arlene was preceded in death by her parents, Archie and his wife Clara Blair; Edna Ruth Irene Irvin; her husband Charles Greene; and one brother Doyle Bowman.
Survivors include one daughter, Glenna Johnson of Midwest City; one son, Dennis “Denny” Welchel Jr. of Jones, Oklahoma; 6 grandkids; 7 great-grand kids; two sisters, Sandra Nickels of Tecumseh, Oklahoma; and Janet Blair of Tecumseh, Oklahoma; one brother, Bode Blair Jr. and his wife Jan Blair; 5 nieces and nephews; 13 great nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00am Friday, July 22, 2022, at Temple of Praise 1100 N. University St. Seminole, OK 74868.
