Steve Allen McClure

Steve Allen McClure, age 71, of Prague, Oklahoma, passed away on March 24, 2026, at his home. He was born in Pomona, California, on May 7, 1954. He is survived by his wife, Brenda McClure, and trusted companion Samson. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary McClure, and father, Kenneth McClure.

Steve retired from the Navy and Law Enforcement. He loved teaching others about safety and gun laws. His passion for security was evident in every CCW class he taught. He also loved to tinker with electronics and lighting. If he couldn’t fix something, it needed to be thrown in the trash.

He and Samson, his German Shepherd companion, were often playing tug-of-war. Their favorite game was using the “bazooka” to shoot balls for Samson to chase and bring back.
