Shawnda Gay Delozier

Shawnda Gay Delozier, 57, of Seminole, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on July 7, 2026.

She was born on May 1, 1969, to Dories Walker-Delozier and Don Delozier. Lifelong Seminole resident. She Graduated From Seminole High class of 1988 and later received her masters degree from ECU.

Shawnda loved her family deeply. Of all the blessings in her life, none brought her more joy than her precious granddaughter, Journey. She treasured every moment they shared and loved her with all her heart. Journey was truly the light of her Gran Gran’s life.

Shawnda will be remembered for her kind heart, her unwavering strength, and the deep love she shared with everyone around her. She touched many lives serving as a licensed therapist with her warmth and compassion, and her memory will forever be cherished by those who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her son, Eddie Delozier; her cherished granddaughter, Journey; her brother, Wayne Delozier and wife, Beth; her brother, Don Delozier and wife, Lois; her stepmother, Jackie Sebastian; her stepbrother, James Ingram; her stepsister, Mandy Hill. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other family members, and friends who will forever treasure her memory.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dories Walker Delozier and Don Delozier; her maternal and paternal grandparents and nephew, Aaron Delozier.

A funeral service will be at 12:00 P.M., Saturday, July 18, 2026, at Sharon Baptist Church located at 19002 Gordon Cooper Drive, Shawnee, Oklahoma 74801.
