Sharon Ray McDaniel

Sharon Ray McDaniel, age 72, of Shawnee, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on February 6, 2026, surrounded by loved ones and family.

With hearts heavy yet full of hope, we honor Sharon, who was called home to be with her Lord and Savior. Though her absence leaves a deep ache, we find comfort in knowing she is now healed, restored, and dwelling in the eternal presence of Jesus.

Sharon was born on September 2, 1953, in French Camp, California, to Glen and Colleen McDaniel. She was raised by her mother and stepfather, Lee Roy St. John Sr., who helped shape the loving and generous woman she became.

Sharon’s life was a reflection of love, quiet strength, and unwavering faith. She cared deeply, loved selflessly, and gave freely of her heart. To know her was to feel safe, cherished, and prayed for. Her gentle spirit and steady devotion touched everyone blessed to walk alongside her.

Family was the center of Sharon’s world. She poured herself into those she loved, always putting others before herself. Sharon was a devoted homemaker who took excellent care of her children and grandchildren whenever she was needed. She loved spending time with family—going places, trying new things, and talking on the phone with those she cherished. Her kindness, wisdom, and faithful prayers will continue to live on through the lives she shaped and the memories she leaves behind.

She is survived by her brothers, Allen McDaniel and Lee Roy St. John Jr.; her sister, Janice St. John; her children and their spouses, Robert and Bonnie Grude, Vincent and Olivia Enriguez, and Brenda Gallegos; her grandchildren, Erica Kerley, Samantha Lalli, William Grohman, Robert Grude II, James Grohman, Carlos Campos, Monica Enriguez, Holly Grude, Gabriel Enriquez, Veronica Enriguez, Vincent Enriguez, Alex Enriguez, Richard Stone, Ethan Stone, Nevaeh Stone, and Diamond Gomez; as well as eight great-grandchildren and multiple nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Bert and Lela Scott; her parents, Lee Roy and Colleen St. John; and her brother, Brian St. John.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on February 11, 2026, at Liberty Baptist Church in Shawnee, Oklahoma, officiated by Pastor Phil Thompson, followed by burial at Calvary Cemetery in Potawatomi County, Oklahoma.

While we mourn her passing, we stand on the promise of God’s Word:

“Jesus said to her, ‘I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in Me will live, even though they die.’” – John 11:25

Sharon Ray McDaniel will be forever missed, deeply loved, and always remembered. Until the day we meet again, we hold fast to the assurance that she is whole, at rest, and home.
