Sharon Kay Bond, age 79 of Seminole, OK, passed away Friday, May 23, 2025 at OU Health University of Oklahoma Medical Center, but not before leaving a huge, joyful mark on everyone blessed enough to know her.

 Born on October 11, 1945, in Webb City, MO, to Frank and Oma Pummil. Sharon was the youngest of seven children. Her and her siblings experienced a lot of hardship growing up, but always remained close. In the early years of adulthood, she met the love of her life, Marion Bond (Buddy) in Alviso, CA, through her sister, Vergie. They got married October 30, 1962 and had 5 children together, Jesse, Eric, LaDonna, Jackie and Shelby. 

Sharon dedicated her life to being a loving wife, mother, nana and friend. She was well known for her nurturing spirit, which she expressed through cooking the best homemade meals and giving unconditional love. Sharon enjoyed sewing, crocheting, fishing, gardening and spending time with her family and friends. 

Sharon was proceeded by her parents; Frank and Oma Pummil (Taylor); sisters, Pearly Sheppard (Pummil), Vergie Parker (Pummil) and Edith Smith (Pummil); brothers, Louis Pummil, James Pummil and Donnie Pummil;  father-in-love, Marion Pinkney Bond Sr.  and mother-in-love, Bertha Bond (Martin); sisters-in-love, Ellen Babb and Juanita Hartline; brother-in-love, Johnny Bond; and great granddaughter, Cameron Dale Rhine. 

She is survived by her husband, Marion Pinkney Bond Jr.; children, Jesse Allen Bond (Beth), John Eric Bond, LaDonna Marie Watts (Shawn), Jackie Renee Dulack and Shelby Kay Harris (Jerome); grandchildren, Brandy Nicole Bond (Darin), Ashley Renee Bond, Andrew Allen Bond (Kathleen) Shawna Rae Watts (Cody), Dillon James Beaver, Cecil James Watts, Jordon LeAnn Watts, Brittany Marie Emmons (Kyle), Jaylynn Vanessa Gonzalez, Joseph Alexander Gonzalez, Nicholas Renee Gonzalez-Valdez, Ceely Ann Bond (JJ), Kaylani Anise Harris, Rome Kaius-Alon Harris, Myeli Reign Harris, Ari Ree’ Harris and Psalm Pinkney Harris; great grandchildren, Katelyn Nicole Corbitt (Jason), Kaylee Cheyanne Bond, Jessica Marion Seamon, Alyssa Gabrielle Norman, Erica Cayt Seamon, Faith Madison Bond, Lillie Ann Rhine, Dallas Star Cook-Newman, Owen Kale Richardson, Chasen James Beaver, Hunter Dewayne Gower, Maddie Allen Gower, Austin Blake Gower; and her great great granddaughter, Kinsley Nicole Corbitt.

A time of public visitation will take place Tuesday, May 27, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at AE Funeral Services 603 W. Independence St., Shawnee, Oklahoma 74804.
