Roy Randall Kelley, 90, of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, passed away on April 3, 2026. He was born in Yonkers, Oklahoma, on March 7, 1936, to George Freeman Kelley and Julia Mae (Willis) Kelley.
Roy married Doris (Luper) Kelley on March 14, 1958. They had three boys, Frank, Randy and Steve. Roy and Doris were married 48 years before she passed away in 2006.
Roy spent his working years doing heating and air work. After retiring, he spent his time working on vehicles or working in his garage or shed building various things to pass the time. He liked to watch old western movies, and if you happened to catch him watching TV, that was what would be on. Roy was not one to sit around and waste time; he was continuously moving and fiddling with anything he could find to do.
Roy was always a jokester. You could always guarantee that he was going to pick on his grandkids/great grandkids—from pretending to take their nose or ear to just walking by and pinching them to aggravate them. He always made sure to give the best hugs, even if he squeezed way too hard. Roy was always a joy to be around, even if all he did was pick on you the whole time. It was all out of love. Even down to his last days, he was still doing what he did best—picking on all of us to show his love for us. Roy was a great father and grandfather.
Roy was preceded in death by his parents, George and Julia Kelley; his wife, Doris Kelley; sons, Randy and Steve Kelley; siblings: Lilia Kelley, Leonard Kelley and Tommy Kelley.
Loving survivors are his son, Frank Kelley; grandchildren: Amanda Harding and husband Kory, Amber Kelley, Brittany Kelley, Jake Kelley, Josh Kelley and wife Crystal, and Matt Kelley; great grandkids: Emma, Molly, Bradley, Dawson, Garrison, Hartlee, Barrett, Juniper, Brileigh and Bristol; siblings: Maxine, Thelma, Martha, Clifton, Anna Belle, Linda, Carolyn, Phillip and Judy; many other relatives and a host of friends.
