It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ronald ‘Ronnie’ Kent Springer, Jr., who gracefully departed this world on Monday, June 15, 2026 at the age of 48. Born on June 3, 1978, in Shawnee, Oklahoma, Ronnie was a beacon of warmth, ambition, and sincerity, leaving an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to cross his path. Ronnie was the cherished son of Deborah Blocker and Ronald 'Kent' Springer, who nurtured his inquisitive spirit and supported his journey through life. From a young age, Ronnie exhibited an exceptional spirit, graduating with honors from Meeker High School, where he was recognized in The Who’s Who for his outstanding academic achievements. He further pursued his education at the University of Oklahoma, where he spent several semesters before embarking on a successful career in business. With an entrepreneurial spirit and a heart full of dreams, Ronnie established his own chain of rent-to-own stores. Through hard work, dedication, and a keen business acumen, he grew his enterprise to three thriving locations. His ambition and strategic mind also saw him actively engaging with the stock market, always eager to discover new avenues for growth. Ronnie's life was enriched by his unwavering faith. As a young man, he was deeply involved in the Meeker Assembly of God Church and the Royal Rangers Program. His faith and values remained central to his life, guiding him in both personal and professional endeavors. Those who knew Ronnie remember him for his infectious smile and his ability to make friends effortlessly. He was a man who never met a stranger, and his genuine interest in others made him a beloved friend to many. He was a good listener, a supportive confidant, and a man who set high goals, working diligently to achieve them.

Ronnie is survived by his wife of ten years, Kelly Springer, and two children, Carter and Reagan. He is also survived by his devoted parents, Deborah Blocker and Kent Springer, his supportive step-father Mike Blocker, his brother Darren Blocker, and a host of extended family members, including his uncles, aunts, and cousins who cherished him dearly. Preceding him in death were his grandparents, Charlie and Kathryn Holder, and Carl and LaWanda Springer, who undoubtedly greeted him with open arms in the afterlife.

Ronnie's legacy is one of kindness, ambition, and an unwavering dedication to his family and friends. Though he is no longer with us, the memories and love he shared will forever remain in our hearts. A private funeral ceremony will be held to honor Ronnie's life, reflecting the intimate and cherished connections he held dear. As we bid farewell to Ronnie, we take solace in the impact he made and the love he shared. He will be profoundly missed, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
