Roger Lee Harris

Roger Lee Harris, passed away unexpectedly on August 6, 2026, at the age of 35. Roger was born on August 15, 1990, in Fort Stewart, GA to Mary and Carl Harris, He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his spirit and kindness will live on in the hearts of those he touched. 

Known for his love of working on cars, Roger had a passion for all things mechanical, a testament to his skill and dedication. He was incredibly handy, always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. His infectious smile and generous hugs will be greatly missed.

Roger is preceded in death by his grandpa Tony W. Ponkilla II, grandpa Charles Harris, grandma Susana B. Harris, father Carl W. Harris, uncle Daniel Ray Ponkilla and uncle Roger Harris. 

Roger is survived by his beloved mother, Mary L. Harris, who will carry his memory in her heart forever, step-father Francis L. Wilson, brother Matthew W. Harris, aunts and uncles, Boyd D. Ponkilla, Toni Wahpekeche, Terry D. Ponkilla and wife Debra, Annette Wilson and husband Calvin, Yvonne D. Ponkilla, Tony W. Ponkilla III, Gary L. Ponkilla and Larry W. Ponkilla, along with numerous other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephew, cousins and a host a friends.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Roger's life and share memories of his kind spirit. A Wake Service will be held at 7:00 P.M., Sunday, August 9, 2026 at Kickapoo Friends Center. Funeral Services will be at 10:00 A.M., Monday, August 10, 2026 at Kickapoo Friends Center, located at 332118 E. 1070 Road, McLoud, OK 74851. A burial ceremony will follow at Johnson Cemetery.
