Richard Harrington

Richard Harrington, 64, passed from this life December 1, 2022, at his home in Maud, Oklahoma, with his wife, Judy, and family at his side. Richard was born April 14, 1958, in Lansing, Michigan, to Gerald Harrington and Phyllis (Chase) Harrington.
Rick and Judy Mae York were married May 26, 1978, in Linneus, Missouri. He made his livelihood as an electrician. He loved to cook, smoke meat and grill. He also enjoyed fishing and gardening, especially tomatoes and peppers. He was very good at woodworking—thinking the project up and putting it together. He had a passion for Harley Davidsons and muscle cars. Rick loved to laugh and spend time with his family, especially the kids, grandkids, and his beloved late dogs Ricoh and Midnight.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Thomas and David Harrington and sister, Donna Galbraith.
Richard is survived by his loving wife, Judy; sons, Philip Harrington and wife, Sarah and Dustin Harrington and wife, Rachel, Jason Easley; daughter, Kristin Harrington; grandchildren: Jacqueline Brooke Harrington, Logan Harrington, Autumn Gore, Austin Harrington, Nicholas Harrington, Zachary Ricker, Ashlynn Sinclair, Cayden Ricker, Nathan Ricker, Corlyn and Journi Easley; great grandchildren: Hayden and Chandler Broyles, Payton Grove and Suede Gore; sisters, Teresa Morris and Renee Martinez; brother, Buddy Cullum.
Public visitation will be held from 12:00 noon to 7:00 pm, Monday, December 5, 2022, at AE Funeral Services, 603 W. Independence St., Shawnee, OK 74804.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, December 6, 2022, at AE Funeral Services Chapel, 603 W. Independence St., Shawnee, OK 74804.
Interment will follow at Little Cemetery, 11522 OK-99, Seminole, OK 74868.
