Phillip Gene Flowers, born March 1, 1955, to Johnny and Marie (Johnson) Flowers, passed peacefully surrounded by his closest family on October 30, 2025.
Phillip was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny and Marie Flowers; his wife, Elaine Flowers; and his brother, Dean Flowers.
Phillip is survived by his son, William Flowers and wife Mellissa of Meeker, OK; stepson, Loren Wilson and wife Sherry of Cuba, MO; grandchildren: John Flowers, Daniel Flowers, Alora and husband Taylor Streater, Jessie Wilson, Jacob Wilson, Rachel and husband Miguel Vasquez, and Abby Wilson; great grandchildren: Ainzlie, Braxtyn, Chandler, Aurora, Casyiah, Azaliah, Alayiah, and Uriah; and his brother, JD Flowers and wife Linda of Tulsa, OK; as well as many other loved ones and friends
Phillip was a man of many skills having been a carpenter, a millwright, a farmer, a truck driver, and most importantly, a dedicated father and papa. He took pride in everything he did and especially in his family. After retirement, Phillip enjoyed spending his days fishing with his son, William and his family. He loved to fish no matter what; he would freeze in the cold and bake in the sun just to be able to wet a line and get him a catfish. He believed that a tackle was a necessity and he never had enough fishing poles or leaders.
Family was incredibly important to Phillip. He loved spending time with his family, and you never wanted to miss a lunch invite for some great company and a free lunch. Phillip made such an impact on everyone who met him; you couldn’t help but love him. With his amazing hugs and bright smile, he has left a lasting impact on all our lives. We miss you and love you, friend, father, and papa.
