Paul Vernon Mitchell

Paul Vernon Mitchell, of Shawnee, Oklahoma, departed this life on April 9, 2025, at the age of 66. He was born in San Jose, California, on October 30, 1958, to Frank Newton Mitchell and Phyllis Gay (Herndon) Mitchell.

Paul was baptized in the General Assembly and Church of the Firstborn. After high school, he worked in the manufacturing business as a CNC operator. He enjoyed fishing, going to garage sales, and looking for antiques. He dearly loved his grandchildren.

Paul was preceded in death by his mother, Phyllis Mitchell; two brothers, Mark and Frank Mitchell; daughter, Jamie Mitchell; and stepson, Justin Mitchell.

Survivors include his daughter, Ashley Park; son, Randy Mitchell; numerous grandchildren; father, Frank Mitchell; brother, Patrick Mitchell; stepsons, Brad and Steven Mitchell; numerous other family members and a host of friends.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, April 23, 2025, 2:00 p.m., at AE Funeral Services Chapel, 603 W. Independence St., Shawnee, Oklahoma 74804.
