Patricia Hester

April 21, 1951 - February 25, 2026
Forever 21(According to her)

It is with heavy hearts and slightly louder than necessary karaoke music that we announce the passing of Patricia Hester, who left this world on February 25, 2026 at the age of 74 (though she would insist she was still "in her prime")
Born on April 21, 1951 in Stillwater, Oklahoma to Paul and Patsy Hester, she was the oldest of 5 girls. Patricia graduated from Del City High School and then moved to Tacoma Washington to live with family. She worked at a movie theater while living there and later returned to Oklahoma City, where she started her career in daycare. After many years of caring for and shaping young lives she retired from daycare, but she never retired from loving children.
Patricia believed age was just a number, preferably one you ignore. Patricia enjoyed playing darts, singing karaoke, watching wrestling and football (Especially OU), coloring her hair fun colors, going places, and spending time with family and friends. She loved to go all the time she never wanted to sit still! She adored every moment the laughter, the noise, the chaos, and especially the hugs.
Patricia is preceded in death by her parents Paul and Patsy Hester, her daughter Skye; who was born still born, Rusty Roach the love of her life, and her beloved niece Marci Cooper.
She is survived by her daughters Toby and Codi (Tim), grandchildren Zachary (Selena), Brooklyn (Michael), Blaze (Bre), Zoey, Braxton, and Kynleigh. Her sisters Vickie (Larry), Paul Ann(Tim), Johnnie, and Peggy (Rick). Great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and countless friends that were lucky enough to be considered family.
Patricia leaves behind a legacy of laughter, bold fashion choices, fearless karaoke performances, competitive dart games, and a reminder to never act your age unless absolutely necessary.
In her honor, the family encourages everyone to sing a little louder, dress a little brighter, hug your loved ones a little tighter, and dont wait for a special occasion to celebrate.
