Misty Nortey

Misty Dawn Nortey passed from this life December 19, 2022, at the age of 40. She was a resident of Chandler, Oklahoma. Misty was born October 19, 1982, in Shawnee, Oklahoma, to Bobby Asberry and Joyce (Johnson) Lee.
Misty worked in nursing homes as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She loved her family. She enjoyed reading, watching horror movies and listening to rock music. Misty collected skulls which showed the eccentric side of her personality. She had a good sense of humor and was full of energy. Although physically short in stature, she was mighty and strong willed.
Misty is survived by her daughters: Ashlyn, Autumn, Selena, all of Shawnee, and Tia of Norman; sons, Gabriel and Dante of Shawnee; grandchildren: Ayden, Emilia and Eli; mother, Joyce Lee; brother, Michael Johnson and sister, Michelle Johnson.
