In Loving Memory of Jolene Price
Mary Jolene Price, of McLoud, Oklahoma, peacefully entered her eternal home on July 7, 2026, at the age of 84 surrounded by the love of her family. She was born on September 23, 1941, in Bryson, Texas, to Carl Wayne Smith and Mary Kathleen Smith.
On August 15, 1960, Jolene married the love of her life, Wayne Price. Together they built a beautiful life centered on love, faith, and family. Their marriage was a testament to lifelong devotion, and together they were blessed with four children who remained the pride and joy of her life along with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Jolene was a faithful and devoted Christian and member of the McLoud Church of Christ, where she worshiped, served, and lived out her Christian faith. Her Christianity guided every aspect of her life. She was known for her gentle spirit, unwavering kindness, and servant's heart. Whether through a meal, a comforting conversation, or a prayer, Jolene quietly touched the lives of everyone she met.
Above all else, Jolene treasured her family. She found her greatest happiness in spending time with those she loved, celebrating life's milestones, and creating lasting memories. Her home was always a place of warmth, hospitality, and unconditional love. She taught her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren the importance of faith, integrity, compassion, and putting God first in all things.
Jolene was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Kathleen Smith and her brother, Teddy Ralph Smith and other greatly loved extended family too numerous to mention.
She is lovingly survived by her husband of 65 years, Wayne Price; their four children Cheryl Elaine Branch of Muskogee, OK, Curtis Wayne Price and wife Stefanie of Sand Springs, OK, Brett Alan Price and wife Michelle of Richardson, Texas, and Sharla Jolene Butler and husband Darian of Choctaw, OK; She was Granny to her 12 precious grandkids: Lauren, Mallory, Colby, Bailey, Casey, Braden, Madison, Carly, Makensie, Mason, Dawson, Landon, and Great-Granny to Clio, Khloe, Aidan, Shane, Noah, Payton, Kayleigh, and Marleigh; her brothers Gerald Wayne Smith and William Dean Smith; She was Aunt Jo to many nieces and nephews, and many dear friends who all will continue to honor her memory by living the values she so faithfully demonstrated.
The family finds comfort in knowing that Jolene's greatest hope has become her eternal reality, and they rejoice in the promise that they will see her again.
