Marion Pinkney Bond Jr., age 81, of Seminole, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, January 18, 2026.

Born on August 27, 1944, in Los Angeles, California, to Marion Sr. and Bertha Bond, Buddy was the fourth born child of five siblings and was the first son. He grew up in Fresno, California. In his young adult years, he met the love of his life, Sharon Bond, in Alviso, California, at his friend Vergie’s house, who happened to be her sister. They got married on October 30, 1962, and had five children together: Jesse, Eric, LaDonna, Jackie and Shelby.

Buddy was a kindhearted, hardworking man that loved to provide for his family and help others. He was a devoted husband, father, papa and friend. He was well known for his easygoing spirit and handy work; there was nothing he couldn’t fix. Buddy enjoyed riding his motorcycle, collecting and shooting guns, fishing, carpentry—custom woodworking, and spending time with his loved ones.

Buddy was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon (Pummil) Bond; parents, Marion Pinkney Bond Sr. and Bertha (Martin) Bond; sisters, Earline Bond, Ellen (Bond) Babb, and Juanita (Bond) Hartline; little brother, Johnny Bond; father-in-law, Frank Pummil; mother-in-love, Oma (Taylor) Pummil; sisters-in-love, Pearly (Pummil) Sheppard, Vergie (Pummil) Parker and Edith (Pummil) Smith; brothers-in-love, Louis Pummil, James Pummil and Donnie Pummil and his great granddaughter, Cameron Dale Rhine.

Buddy is survived by his children: Jesse Allen Bond (Beth), John Eric Bond, LaDonna Marie Watts (Shawn), Jackie Renee Dulack and Shelby Kay Harris (Jerome); grandchildren: Brandy Nicole Bond (Darin), Andrew Allen Bond (Kathleen), Shawna Rae Watts (Cody), Dillon James Beaver, Cecil James Watts, Jordon LeAnn Watts, Brittany Marie Emmons (Kyle), Jaylynn Vanessa Gonzalez, Joseph Alexander Gonzalez, Nicholas Renee Gonzalez-Valdez, Ceely Ann Bond (JJ), Kaylani Anise Harris, Rome Kaius-Alon Harris, Myeli Reign Harris, Ari Ree’ Harris and Psalm Pinkney Harris; great-grandchildren: Katelyn Nicole Corbitt (Jason), Kaylee Cheyanne Bond, Jessica Marion Seamon, Alyssa Gabrielle Norman, Erica Cayt Seamon, Faith Madison Bond, Lillie Ann Rhine, Dallas Star Cook-Newman, Owen Kale Richardson, Chasen James Beaver, Hunter Dewayne Gower, Maddie Allen Gower, Austin Blake Gower, Hendricks Myron Emmons and his great great granddaughter, Kinsley Nicole Corbitt.
