Mariah Smith, 33, of Meeker, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on April 5, 2026, at OU Medical Center surrounded by her loving family and friends.
Mariah was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, and friend whose greatest joy in life was caring for others—especially her children. From a young age, she naturally took on the role of a “mother hen,” always looking after those around her. That nurturing spirit became her life’s purpose, and she fulfilled it wholeheartedly as a homemaker and the proud mother of five children: Hailey, Wesley, Letti, Cheva, and Damion. Being a mother was not only her role, but her greatest dream and deepest source of pride.
Mariah also showed incredible strength and courage as she bravely fought breast cancer, facing her illness with resilience and determination while continuing to put her family first.
She was married to her loving husband, Brandon, with whom she built a life centered on family, love, and devotion. Mariah cherished time spent with her children, friends, and loved ones, creating memories that will be held close by all who knew her.
Mariah is survived by her husband, Brandon; her children, Hailey, Wesley, Letti, Cheva, and Damion; her father, Joe Watts of Jacksonville, Florida; her mother, Cheri Lomax, and bonus dad, Mark Lomax, of Shawnee, Oklahoma; and her in-laws, Tami and Brian Smith of Meeker, Oklahoma. She is also survived by siblings, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will miss her dearly.
A Celebration of Life will be held at AE Funeral Services Chapel in Shawnee, Oklahoma, on Friday, April 17, 2026, at 1:00 p.m.
Mariah will be remembered for her kind heart, her unwavering love for her children, and the strength and grace she showed throughout her life. Her legacy lives on in the lives she touched and the family she loved so deeply.

And a cure was not to be.
So he put His arms around you
And whispered ‘Come with Me’”
