Leisa Elois Bishop Lynch

Leisa Elois Bishop Lynch, resident of Meeker, Oklahoma, passed away April 7, 2025. She was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, on October 30, 1952, to Stanley Bishop and Lois (Mosley) Bishop.

Leisa enjoyed cooking and baking and fixing huge holiday meals for her family and friends. She had a talent for crocheting afghans and blankets. She also enjoyed trips and sightseeing with her friends and family, and she always enjoyed looking at the Oklahoma sunset.

Leisa was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Gene Lynch, of Prague, Oklahoma; parents, Stanley Cletus Bishop and Lois Marie Mosley; siblings: Dale Cunningham, Dinna Cunningham, Stephen Bishop, Philip Bishop, Jennifer Bishop Rogers, Becky Martindale Hildreth Bevins, Lori Martindale McNees; sisters-in-law, Judy Cunningham and Beverly Bishop; brothers-in-law, Floyd Hildreth and Mac McNees; niece and nephew, Shaina Able and Lance Bishop.

Leisa is survived by her brother and sisters-in-law: Gene Henry and Jolie Martindale of Shawnee, Oklahoma, Carla Jean Lynch and Bradley Melson of Meeker, Oklahoma, Christy Lynch and Rick Knowles, of Virginia; grandchildren: Shawn Johnson and wife, Heather, Sarah Salotti, Larry Salotti, and Samantha Salotti; great grandchildren: Joshua Story, Imma Story, Amanda Story and Jacob Story; numerous other family members and a host of friends.

The family wants to give a very heartfelt “Thank You” to Jolie Martindale for all her care and understanding. The family also wants to thank all the nurses and doctors at SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital in Shawnee, Oklahoma. The ICU unit showed such care and professionalism that words cannot express.
