Kaleb Marshall Parsons

Kaleb Marshall Parsons, age 15, of Meeker, Oklahoma, passed away on February 28, 2026, following a tragic accident. Though his time with us was far too short, the impact he made through his kind heart and steady hands will be felt forever.

Born on September 22, 2010, in Midwest City, Oklahoma, to Amanda Parsons. Kaleb resided in Meeker with his devoted grandparents, Darrell and Susan Parsons. He was currently in the 8th grade, where he was homeschooled by his grandmother, Susan.

Kaleb was a young man who looked to the future with a clear vision. He possessed a natural talent for all things mechanical and was a gifted aspiring welder. Whether it was tinkering with an engine or sparking a torch, Kaleb was at his happiest when he was building or fixing something. His friends and family knew him as the person to call for help. He was always ready to get a neighbor’s lawn mower running and took immense pride in perfectly maintaining the lawns for both his grandparents and great-grandmother.

When Kaleb wasn’t tinkering on engines, he was in the woods or by the water. He was a true outdoorsman who loved hunting trips with his uncle John, fishing, hiking and camping.

Kaleb was known for his ready smile and his ability to make friends wherever he went. Kaleb leaves behind a legacy of kindness and a can-do attitude that inspired everyone who knew him.

Kaleb was preceded in death by his uncle, Kyle Kelley.

His memory will be cherished and kept alive by his loving family: mother, Amanda Parsons and brother, Jace Parsons, of Meeker, OK; grandparents, Darrell and Susan Parsons, of Meeker, OK; great-grandmother, Reba Kelley, of Shawnee, OK; aunts and uncles, Emily Parsons of Shawnee, OK, John Parsons and wife, Heather of Shawnee, OK, Ronnie Parsons and wife, Diana of Bowlegs, OK; cousins, Teagan Ducharme and numerous other cousins, extended family, and a wide circle of friends.

Kaleb touched many hearts in his 15 years. He will be profoundly missed, but we take comfort in knowing his spirit lives on in every engine he fixed, and every life he brightened with his smile.
