In Loving Memory of June Lynn (Jones) Clabaugh

November 28, 1955 – June 5, 2026

June Lynn (Jones) Clabaugh, lovingly known as “June Bug” to family and friends, passed away peacefully at her home in Shawnee, Oklahoma, on Friday, June 5, 2026, at the age of 70, surrounded by those who loved her most.

Born November 28, 1955, in Tulare, California, June lived a life marked by generosity, steadfast faith, unwavering love, and devotion to her family and friends. On May 15, 1987, she married Galen Dean Clabaugh, and together they shared 39 wonderful years of marriage filled with love, friendship, and cherished memories.

Throughout her life, June dedicated herself to serving others. She worked as a Public Safety Tele-communicator for the Municipal Government and served for a time as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) in Nebraska. Her commitment to helping people reflected the kindness and selflessness that defined her character.

June found her greatest joy in spending time with her loved ones, especially her grandson. She enjoyed traveling, playing board games, trying her luck at casinos and horse races, and sharing long conversations with her daughter and cherished friends. Her infectious laughter, quick wit, and loving spirit made every gathering brighter. Those who knew June will remember her as trustworthy, kind, strong, faithful, fun-loving, and always ready to share a laugh. She was a source of comfort, wisdom, and encouragement to many, and her absence leaves an immeasurable void in the hearts of those who loved her.

June was preceded in death by her parents, W.D. and Arbutus “Boots” Jones; several beloved aunts, uncles, and other family members.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Galen Clabaugh; her daughter, Alicia Bailey and significant other, Wesley Jack; her beloved grandson, Colby Nelson, and soon to be granddaughter-in-law, Kala Barlow; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever cherish her memory.

As we mourn her passing, we also celebrate the remarkable life she lived and the love she gave so freely. Her legacy of faith, strength, and compassion will continue to live on in all who knew her.
