James Louis Webb, 71, of Meeker, Oklahoma passed away on June 16, 2026.

James was born on June 15, 1955, to Goldean and Louis Webb, deeply devoted Christians, in Woodriver, Illinois. He was the youngest of three boys and was often called “Steve, Don, Jim!”

He obtained his associates degree from Seminole State College and attended the University of Oklahoma. He was a huge OU fan and followed many of their sporting events. His favorite to watch were football, basketball and women’s softball.

Jim spent his career working as a carpenter. Many of those years he worked alongside his father and brothers. He was well known for his skill and abilities. He was often called upon by friends and family to help in times of need, and he was always willing to lend support.

In 1986, he met the love of his life, Claudia. They went on to wed in October 1987. Together they have five children, Jamie Webb, Jennifer Webb, Derek Webb, Skye Myers and Madison Webb.

Although retired, Jim was constantly busy. He always had multiple projects to complete for family, community or the church. He felt very strongly about giving to those in need.

Jim was an active member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Shawnee, Oklahoma. He was very devout in his faith to God. To Jim, God and his family were his highest priorities.

He will be welcomed into Heaven by both his parents, his middle brother, two children, and many other loved ones.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, his oldest brother and wife, three daughters, many grandchildren, and a host of family and friends.

Friends and family are welcome to gather to honor Jim's life at his Memorial Service at 2:00 P.M. on Monday June 22, 2026, at Immanual Baptist Church located at 1451 East 45th Street, Shawnee, Oklahoma.
