Isaac Raymond McBroom

Isaac "Raymond" McBroom, 74, formerly of Wanette, passed away on June 6, 2026, in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Raymond was born March 24, 1952, in Purcell, Oklahoma to Isaac McBroom and Leona (Carter) McBroom. He was raised in Asher and graduated from Asher High School with the class of 1970. After high school he married Phyllis Kiser and they made their lifelong home in Wanette where he lived for most of his adult life. Raymond loved spending time with his family. He was also a huge sports fan; whether it was NASCAR, baseball, or his favorite - OU Football. 

He is survived by his daughter Lawanda Lee of Tecumseh, three sons and daughter-in-law’s, Bobby and Crystal McBroom of Tecumseh, Tyler and Brandi McBroom of Shawnee, Dillon McBroom of Shawnee, grandchildren; Chelsi McBroom, Britney McBroom and fiancé Kyle, Tye Lee and fiancé Aubreigh, Alexis Lee and fiancé Dawson, Karsynn Duplissey, Bexley McBroom, Memphis McBroom, Nash McBroom, Kash McBroom, Knox McBroom, Karson Ring, Kimberlynn Ring, two great grandchildren John McBroom, Ivory Kirkhart, three grand fur-babies, Nova, Archie and Brownie, two sisters and brother-in-law’s Marilyn and Don Black of Asher and Linda and David Morton of Tecumseh and one brother Kenneth McBroom of Shawnee, along with a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his parents Isaac and Leona McBroom, wife Phyllis McBroom, two sisters Mildred Carolyn McBroom and Nancy Morton and three brothers Donald Gene, Larry, and Terry McBroom.

Visitation will begin on Thursday, June 11, 2026, from 12:00 - 7:00P.M. and continue until service time.

A Funeral Service for Raymond will be Friday, June 12, 2026, at 1:00 P.M. at Bethel Acres Assembly located at 18509 Bethel Road, Bethel Acres, OK 74801.
