Glynda Ann Duncan left her earthly life on August 16, 2022. She was born in Taylor, Texas, on March 19, 1943, to Glynn Abbott and Madlynn (Hinkle) Abbott.
Glynda had lived in the Shawnee and Tecumseh communities. Her husband, Billy Duncan, passed in 2012. She enjoyed fishing and had a passion for art. She loved country music and old church hymns. Two of her favorite songs were “I Can Only Imagine” and “When Mama Sang, the Angels Listened” by George Jones. Psalm 118:1 was Glynda’s favorite Bible verse and she often told people, “If you don’t know Jesus, you need to because you might not be here tomorrow.”
Glynda was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and grandson, Danny Clark.
Surviving loved ones are daughters: Melissa Harrell (children: Tanner Harrell and Ronald Chase); Tina Barmore (children: Zack and Megan Barmore); Sherry Bristow-Cruz (children: Samantha and Connor Syptak); Tamy Koonce (child: Garet Mullins); son, Terry Wooten (children: Cody Wooten and Shanna Honkomp); special friend, Christie Cunningham; special caretaker, Timothy Tappan and his family and a host of other relatives and friends.
