Francisco Humberto Carrales

Francisco Carrales, 82, of Newalla, Oklahoma, passed away on January 7, 2026, after a battle with stomach cancer. He was born on October 25, 1943, to Leonardo and Virginia (Gomez) Carrales in the city of Edinburgh, Texas.

Frank graduated from Midwest City High School in 1961. After graduation he landed his first job with Oklahoma Publishing delivering newspapers, and then he worked for Oklahoma Meat Company. He began his 20+ years-career at General Motors as an assembly line worker.

In 1967 Frank met Oletta Foster, and they wed in 1968. They were blessed with four children: Beverly, Mario, Andrew and Angelica.

After retiring in 2004, Frank spent his time with his family and fishing any chance he got.

Frank was predeceased by his parents, Leonardo and Virginia Carrales, Angelica Cavasoz, Acelia Knauf, and Mario Carrales.

Loving survivors are Frank's wife, Oletta Carrales, Frankie Carrales, Beverly Phelps, Andrew Carrales, Angelica Clark, nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren and a host of friends.

Visitation will be Wednesday, January 14, 2026, noon – 5:00 p.m., at AE Funeral Services Chapel, 603 W. Independence St., Shawnee, Oklahoma 74804.

A graveside service will be Thursday, January 15, 2026, 10:00 a.m., at Harrah Memory Lane Cemetery, 20451 NE 10th St., Harrah, Oklahoma 73045.
