Frances Elaine Shatto, 63 of Maud,OK. passed away on May 7, 2026, in Oklahoma City, OK.

Elaine was born and raised in the Durant area. During her senior year in high school she met the love of her life Bobby Shatto and later the two were married on Friday the 13th of February 1981. Elaine and Bobby made their home in the Shawnee area before moving to Maud where they have lived for the last 25 years. Elaine worked many years as a Nutrition Manager for Pleasant Grove Schools, The First Christian Church of Shawnee and she retired from CTSA after Twenty plus years of service. 

Elaine was a member of The First Baptist Church of Maud and Faith Riders. Her favorite things include cooking, Sunday lunches, spending time with family, ladies bible study, and church activities.

Elaine is survived by her husband of 45 years Bobby Shatto of the home, One daughter Kelli Shatto of Asher, Two sons and two daughter in laws Bobby Joshua and wife Robin Shatto of Maud, Terry and wife Karolina Shatto of Chickasha. Three Grandchildren Eli, Adam, And Lauren. Mother Fran Gatlin of Durant. Brother and sister in law Jimmie and Marilyn Gatlin of Durant. Along with many other extended family and friends.Elaine is preceded in death by her Dad Wayne Gatlin.

Elaine's Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, May 14, 2026, at Tecumseh First Baptist Church located at 301 S. Broadway St., Tecumseh, Oklahoma. Burial will be at Tecumseh Cemetery, directly followed by food and fellowship at Maud First Baptist Church located at 501 N. Green Street, Maud, Oklahoma 74854.

In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to Maud First Baptist Church to help with VBS and Youth Camp.
