Delbert Rogers

Delbert William Rogers, age 80, of Tecumseh, Oklahoma, passed away Saturday, April 15, 2023, while surrounded by his loved ones. He was born in Lane, Oklahoma, on January 25, 1943, to Robert and Marie Rogers.
When Delbert was eight years old, the family moved to Pottawatomie County where he lived the rest of his life. He had a love for fishing, hunting, gardening, cooking and canning. He won a large collection of ribbons at the Pott County Fair (mostly 1st place and one Grand Champion). He retired from Fred Jones Auto after 38 years of service.
Delbert was preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Marie; sister, Mickey Rogers and brother, Jimmy Rogers.
Delbert is survived by son, Teddy Rogers and wife, Vicki, of Tecumseh, OK; daughter, Belinda Canning and husband, David, of Arizona; son, Allen Rogers and wife, Christina, of Idaho; daughter, Tammy Forrest and husband, JT, of Arizona; sister, Lorine Newell of Texas; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; numerous other family members and a host of friends.
The family welcomes everyone to join them for a Celebration of Life at 12:00 noon, Saturday, May 6, 2023, at the Lake Tecumseh Pavilion, 39698 Benson Park Road, Tecumseh, Oklahoma 74873.
