Debra Lander

Debra Nell Lander, 68, of Shawnee, OK, died December 20, 2022. She was born in Hutchinson, KS, and travelled widely, living in many states and for a time in southern Spain. She excelled in multiple disciplines of music and art, and was a life-long learner, getting a paralegal studies degree in her 50s. She was known for her skills in many areas, but especially painting, quilting, piano, and guitar. She raised three sons, whose success in life is perhaps her strongest legacy. She is survived by her husband Mike; mother Nancy Stine and stepfather Joe Stine; siblings Priscilla Tubbs and Ted Bunch; stepbrother Stephen Stine and stepsister Kristen Hipol; sons Michael (Jamie) Lehmann, Brian (Kimberly) Moore, and Walter (Angela) Mason; and grandchildren Nicole Moore, Kaiden Moore, and Eleanor Mason. A graveside service will be held 2PM, Tuesday, December 27, 2022, at Fairview Cemetery in Shawnee, Oklahoma, where she spent her last and happiest years.
