Deborah Sue Ritter was born May 25, 1953, and was a free spirit from that very first moment. She graduated from Bethel High School and, true to her nature, left for Colorado the very next morning. Her wandering heart carried her across the country, but eventually the road brought her back to Oklahoma, where she found the two greatest loves of her life: her husband, Michael Bourne and her passion for breeding and raising dogs. Through the puppies she raised, she touched more lives than she likely ever knew.

Deborah was preceded in death by her mother, Donna Brown, and her beloved aunts and uncles, Barbara and Bill Goodnight and Nadine and Roy Myers. She is survived by her husband, Michael Bourne of Shawnee; her father, Dennis Brown of Edmond; her sister, Denise Breed of Shawnee; her brothers, David Brown of Shawnee and Denny Brown and his wife, Cindy Brown of Auburn, Indiana; and a wide circle of cousins she loved like siblings, and cherished nieces and nephews.
