David Wendell Coffey

David Wendell Coffey, 68, of Meeker, Oklahoma passed away from this life on February 25, 2026.

David was born on July 18, 1958, to Arthur Coffey and Ella Ruth Coffey. He graduated from Meeker High School in 1976.

David worked his first job at Walls Department Store for 11 years and then after that he had a 25-year career with Lucent Technologies/Avya. He met Forrest Billingsley in 2006, and they were married on August 22, 2015. He has three children; Kathleen, Tyler and Lexus, and five grandchildren; Lane, Connor, Forrest, Olivia and Xander. After David retired in 2023, he spent his time horseback riding, camping, traveling and spending time with family and friends.

David was preceded in death by his dad, Jimmy Rose and by his mother, Ella Ruth Rose.

He is survived by his husband Forrest Billingsley, brother, Paul Coffey and sisters, Susan Steel, Michelle Fields and Melinda Timmons.
