Christopher Allen Wilbanks

Christopher Allen Wilbanks, 59, was born in Selvin, Indiana, on April 22, 1966, to Wilma Baize Wilbanks and Lawton Wilbanks. He spent his childhood and school years in Boonville, Indiana, and moved to Oklahoma in the late 1980’s to be near his mother. For the last ten years and in declining health, Chris lived with his mother in Tecumseh, Oklahoma, where he passed away peacefully at home on May 23, 2025.

Chris was preceded in death by his three-day old baby sister, Deanna, in 1968; his foster brother, Gary Kolley; and his grandparents, Verlene Colter, George Willbanks, and Bessie and Charlie Horsley.

Chris is survived by his mother, Wilma Tison of Tecumseh, OK; his father, Lawton Wilbanks (Patty) of Boonville, IN; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Chris’ final resting place after cremation will be in the Selvin Cemetery in Selvin, Indiana.
