Charles Rowe

March 4, 1951 — October 15, 2023

Charles Allen Rowe, lovingly known as “Butch”, passed from this life on October 15, 2023, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unwavering devotion to his family.
Butch was born on March 4, 1951, to Richard Rowe and Mildred Bryant Rowe in Walters, Oklahoma.  Butch’s life was a testament to his deep connection with the great outdoors.  His love for nature found expression in his passion for hunting, fishing, and his family’s cherished vacations to the mountains of Montana.
Butch was also a master of humor, wielding a clever and sarcastic quick wit that never failed to bring a smile to the faces of those around him.  He had the unique gift of turning everyday moments into unforgettable, laughter-filled experiences.
Butch committed 30 years of his life to his role as a programmer at Cooper Cameron and during that time, also formed life-long friendships.
On April 6, 1980, Butch’s life took an exciting turn when he married the love of his life, Mary Jean Young.  Their enduring love was a source of inspiration to all who knew them.  Their union blessed them with three children—Alysia, Tiffany, and Derek.  Butch’s children and later, his cherished grandchildren, held a special place in his heart, a true sign of his endless love and commitment as a husband, father, and grandfather.
He was also a skilled woodworker and had the remarkable achievement of building two houses, leaving behind tangible evidence of his craftsmanship that will be treasured by his family.
Butch is survived by his wife of 43 years, Mary Jean Rowe, and leaves behind his daughter, Tiffany Rowe, and son, Derek Rowe; his grandchildren, Sophia, Maddox, Christian, and Adlee.  He is also survived by his sister, Anna Bryant and her husband, Leon Snelson, as well as his sister, Cindy Holliday, and her friend, Ashley Land.
In memory of those who have gone before him, Butch is predeceased by his parents, Richard and Mildred, his daughter, Alysia Rowe, and his grandson, Michael Rowe.
Rest in peace, dear Butch.  Your legacy of laughter, love, and dedication to your family will be deeply missed, but the memories you left with us will continue to bring warmth and joy to our lives until we meet again.
