Charles Clifford Kiplinger

Charles Clifford Kiplinger passed away peacefully with his children by his side on June 14, 2024. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and friend who will be missed terribly.

Charles was born on November 3, 1951, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to parents, Clifford “Duck” Kiplinger and Violet Kiplinger. He married the love of his life, Corine Kiplinger, on November 18, 1968. You could always find them in the casino or enjoying some Mexican food together. They shared 57 years of life together. Charles and Corine had five children whom they absolutely cherished and adored.

Charles was quite the math wiz. He was a stone mason, and he enjoyed his work and took much pride in it. He enjoyed fishing and going to the casino. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandbabies.

Charles was preceded in death by his wife, Corine Kiplinger; daughter, Joyce “Spooky” Dye; parents, Clifford “Duck” and Violet Kiplinger; brothers, Eddie and Barney Kiplinger; sisters: Debra “Chig” Kiplinger, Roseanne Spears, Thelma “Bugsy” Mills, Joyce Messick; and two grandsons, Tommy Kiplinger and Anthony Sebree.

Charles is survived by three sons: Charley Kiplinger and wife, Danielle, of Cromwell, OK, Jimmy Kiplinger and wife, Melissa, of Elk City, OK, Clifford Kiplinger and wife, Ashley, of Cromwell, OK; one daughter, Tammy Kiplinger, of Cromwell, OK; 14 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; many more extended family members and a host of friends; and his dog, Bobo.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 24, 2024, 2:00 p.m., at The Bridge Holiness Church, 372098 State Hwy 48, Bearden, Oklahoma 74859.
