Candise Dawn Warren

Candise Dawn Warren was born on November 29, 1969, in Shawnee, Oklahoma, to Ronald Leory Ham and Dorothy France (Grisso) Gouker. She passed away Tuesday, April 29, 2025, in the hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 56.

Candise was a resident of Shawnee and graduated from Seminole High School, and she received her master’s degree in social work from OU University. She enjoyed crafting, crocheting, and cooking, but most of all, spending time with her family.

Candise was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her sons, Michael York II and Kenneth York and wife, Sheila York, and grandchildren, Benton and Evelyn York.

A celebration of life for Candise will be held Saturday, May 31, 2025, 1:00 p.m., at Evans Event Center, 21040 Okay Rd., Tecumseh, Oklahoma 74873.
