Cameron Forrest

July 7, 1992 — June 10, 2022

Cameron Lee Forrest was born to Angela Mae Baker and Wilfred Stephen Forrest on July 7, 1992, in Shawnee, Oklahoma, and passed Friday, June 10, 2022, at age 29.
Cameron graduated from Bethel High School and soon after joined the workforce. He had a multitude of talents which allowed him to work in many different job environments. He put his skills to test in the food industry, trucking industry, oil field work and as a store clerk. He also had a special passion for working with special needs individuals and even went to the extent of playing Santa Claus on occasions. His latest job was at Loves, where his co-workers all loved him and could always depend on him to do whatever was needed. They knew he always had their backs. He trained much of the current staff and even helped at other stores when needed.
One thing that made Cameron happy was to see people turn their lives around after going through life struggles. He loved his mom and would talk about her all the time. Many people say his mom was his best friend. He also loved his brothers and often spoke of the great times they had together. He would house sit and watch his brothers’ dogs anytime they were out of town. He adored his niece, Mila, and was a terrific Uncle Cam. He loved his father and would often take the time to help him. He loved his stepfather, too, and would help him with anything, no matter how tired he was. Likewise, no matter how tired he was, we would always get a cheerful good morning. He told us he loved us often and was usually the first one to say it. Cameron’s sense of humor was unmatched and would even laugh at himself often. He had a unique way of making anybody laugh and was an expert at making frustrating, yet funny, nicknames for everyone. He was very loving, forgiving and gracious. He loved to fish and was happy even if he didn't catch anything. He loved to cook and grill and was the best chef we knew, always tweaking his recipes. He was known for his phenomenal Cheesecake Salad.
We all have such great memories of Cameron. He was loved by more people than he knew and he touched so many lives. Not a single person had anything bad to say about him. He will be greatly missed and will always be remembered as the kind and generous man that he was.
He is survived by his mother and father, stepfather, Eddie Baker; brothers and sisters-in-law: Treyvin and Danielle Martin, Kendric and Lacey Martin, Kendell and Maddie Baker; Aunt Lisa and Uncle Bill; as well as, Grandma Joy and Mr. Dave, who he loved very much.
