Bradley William Cross

Bradley William Cross, beloved son, friend, and follower of Christ, passed away leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and light. Born with a heart full of compassion and a zest for life, Bradley touched everyone he met with his kindness, joy, and protective spirit.

From a young age, Bradley’s love for Jesus was clear. He gave his life to the Lord at just 15 years old at Yukon Assembly of God Church, a moment that shaped his path and the way he loved others so fully and freely. He found strength and inspiration through his faith and was especially moved by the teachings and ministry of Pastor Steven Furtick of Elevation Church, whose words helped deepen Bradley’s relationship with God.

He lived with a servant’s heart, always helping strangers and stepping up for anyone in need. Fiercely loyal and protective, especially of his family and friends, Bradley’s presence was a safe haven to many.

Bradley was a true country soul. He cherished the simple joys of life, front porch sitting, stargazing, cruising down old dirt roads, or two-stepping in the dark with only the headlights to light the way. He found peace and joy near the water, fully embracing the lake life through watersports, fishing, and boating. Cookouts, bonfires, catching fireflies, and making s’mores were some of his favorite ways to create lasting memories with the people he loved.

He also had a playful, passionate side with a love for music and art, a pool cue in hand, the Cupid Shuffle on the dance floor, and his heart fully in every moment. Whether cheering on OU Football, the Green Bay Packers, or the Oklahoma City Thunder, Bradley was always all in; full of energy, spirit, and joy.

Bradley had a brilliant mind, with a love for math, science, and engineering. He enjoyed working alongside his dad, Timmy, in construction; time spent building not only structures, but unforgettable memories. He was proud to be named in Who’s Who Among American High School Students, a reflection of his dedication and character.

In “quieter” moments, Bradley loved to cook, blast his favorite music, and watch The Fast and the Furious films’ a collection that combined his love for speed, cars, and adrenaline. He took pride in looking his best, always sharp in his clothes and careful with his hair. His favorite color was orange, bright, bold, and full of life, just like him.

Bradley had a sweet tooth and a love for flavor, especially for Mexican food (with hot sauce – the hotter, the better), cherry cheesecake, Vanilla Frappuccinos, Oreo Blasts, and Oreo ice cream cake.

He was deeply loved, and his memory will live on through the countless lives he touched with his laughter, loyalty, and love.

Bradley was preceded in death by his grandparents, Barbara and Harold McPherson; grandmother, Kora Cross, and grandfather, Edsel Hubbell; his aunt, Vikki Anthony, and uncle, Jerry Massey, who welcomed him into eternity with open arms.

Bradley is lovingly survived by his father, Timmy Cross; his mother, Margaret White and her husband, Richard; his children: Aydan, Kyler, Brayden, Riley, and Trigger; grandfather, Leo Cross and his wife, Martha; grandma, Norma Hubbell; brothers, Steven and Skyler; sister, Nikki; his dearest friend, Jackie Witt (McGonigal); aunts: Carol Massey, Diana Hallingshead and husband, Gary, Gayle Hornbeck and husband, Paul; his uncle, Pat Anthony; and numerous cousins and dear friends who were like family. He also leaves behind his beloved dog, Luna, who brought him so much happiness.

Visitation will be Wednesday, May 21, 2025, 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., at AE Funeral Services Chapel.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, June 1, 2025, 4:00 p.m., at Life Church Shawnee, 5113 N. Harrison St., Shawnee, Oklahoma 74804.

To honor Bradley's vibrant life and spirit, we ask that those attending his memorial service wear orange, his favorite color (even though he was an avid OU fan) in celebration of the joy and light he brought into the lives of everyone who knew him.
