Barbara Ann States

Barbara Ann States, 76, of Harrah, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on June 11, 2025. She was born on June 20,1948 to Leroy and Edyth States. She grew up in Keyport, New Jersey, where she attended Keyport High School and Beauty School. During her life she raised four children and two grandchildren.

Barbara was predeceased by her parents, Leroy States and Edyth (Egan) States; a brother, David States, and her husband, Walter. She is survived by her four children: Eric, Cassandra, Cherish, and Angelica; her sister, Carol Branson of Keyport, NJ; two brothers, Richard and Jean States of Keyport, NJ, and Kenneth and Kathy States of Harrah, OK; as well as many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A private family service will be held in Barbara’s name. There will be a memorial service in Oklahoma at a later date.
