Anthony Lee Brown, a devoted father and loving brother, transitioned unexpectedly in Shawnee, Oklahoma, on October 26, 2025. Anthony was born on January 25, 1962, in Dawson, Georgia, and later moved with his family to Albany, Georgia, where he grew up surrounded by love, laughter, and strong family values that shaped his life. He traveled many places throughout his journey, guided by his ambition and adventurous spirit. His path eventually led him to Oklahoma, where he pursued new opportunities rooted in his entrepreneurial drive and belief in creating his own unique future.
Anthony will forever be remembered for his entrepreneurial spirit, his love of cooking, and his warm presence. Whether dreaming up his next business idea or preparing a meal that brought joy to others, he shared parts of his heart in everything he did.
The joy of his life was his daughter, Takeeba Sanders, his bright spot, his proudest joy, and the person who meant the world to him. Anthony is preceded in death by his parents: Clara and Charlie Brown, Jr.; his brothers: Charlie Gene Brown, Otis Clarence Brown, Wallace Brown, and Curtis Brown; and his sisters: Charlie Ruth Brown, Mary Sue Williams, Alice Faye Hill, and Willie Mae Williams.
He is survived by his loving siblings: Dr. Joan B. Bryant (Henry) of Canton, MI; Dr. Artis C. Though our hearts mourn his earthly absence, we find comfort in knowing he is reunited with loved ones who have gone before him. His legacy of creativity, resilience, and love will live on through every life he touched. His greatest joy remains in the heart of his daughter, Takeeba, who will forever carry his love forward. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
