Amy Dawn Prock

Amy Dawn Prock, 38, of Shawnee, Oklahoma, passed away on March 8, 2024, after a short battle with cancer.  She was born in Ada, Oklahoma, on September 6, 1985, to Lester and Linda (Gollihare) Prock.

After graduation from Shawnee High School in 2005, Amy landed a job as a day care teacher, which was followed by a position at the Shawnee Learning Center in Shawnee, kicking off a long-time career in this field.

Amy loved spending time with her great nieces and nephews.  She also loved to shop, listen to music, watch movies, and spend time with her family.

Amy was preceded in death by her father, Lester Prock, and grandfather, Calvin Prock.

Amy is survived by her mother, Linda Prock, of Shawnee; siblings, Heather Perkins of Midwest City and Angela McClure of Shawnee; fiancé, James Gfeller; nieces, Jasmine Cody and Destiny McLeod; many great nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

A visitation will be on March 14, 2024, from noon to 7:00 pm, at AE Funeral Services Chapel, 603 W. Independence St., Shawnee, Oklahoma 74804.

A funeral service will be held on March 15, 2024, 2:00 pm, at AE Funeral Services Chapel.  Interment will follow at Tecumseh Cemetery, 18800 S. Gordon Cooper Dr., Shawnee, Oklahoma 74801.
